PEL is defined as the maximum permitted 8-hour time-weighted average concentration of an airborne contaminant. STEL is a daily maximum permitted 15-minute time-weighted average concentration.
Glutaraldehyde: Cal/OSHA PEL and ceiling limit – 0.05 ppm Formaldehyde: Cal/OSHA PEL – 0.75 ppm, STEL – 2 ppm Nitrous Oxide: Cal/OSHA permissible exposure level (PEL) – 50 ppm
